The name Zuhal, in Arabic, is associated with steadfastness and a distant, enduring quality, and the fragrance is built as a study in time and maturation around oud. It uses a 30% perfume oil concentration that undergoes several weeks of maceration and maturation, emphasizing the evolution of the oud from darker, smoky and animalic facets to smoother, rounded and softer nuances. The composition opens with a spicy accord of black pepper, pink pepper and cardamom. The heart centers on patchouli and Assam oud, leading into a base of amber and Indonesian oud that reinforces the woody-resinous character.
